The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

They are equipped with impressive mapping and obstacle avoidance, and some wash and refill their own mopping pads to give themselves a hands-off clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum that also mops then this is the model you should go for. It's smaller than the other options on this list making it easier to navigate in tight corners and under furniture. It has a 220 degree Lidar that, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, provides some of my favorite navigation and avoidance capabilities I've seen in the form of a robotic vacuum. It comes with a massive 4600mAh battery that lasts for up to 170-minutes when mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can run longer in turbo). It can even return to its dock to replenish its battery in mid-clean.

It's very quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It is able to vacuum carpeted rooms quickly and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room and hallways in just one motion. The motor's 8,000pa power allows it to remove dirt, pet hair, and poop effortlessly. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects rugs and the double side brushes help to clean debris from corners.

The mopping performance, though still impressive, is not as impressive. The mop's rotating mechanism spins fast and uses 2.2lbs to clean dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arm extends out a little more than other robots. This is useful when you're trying to get into tight corners or along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to collect larger objects like books and broken toys.

Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the most quiet robot vacuums and mops I've tried. It is quieter and doesn't make as much noise when mopping or vacuuming. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it has to use a mopping solution that is proprietary and is sold separately. It's simple to set up and works well, but this is something you'll need to keep an eye on when you purchase this vacuum for the sole reason of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that mop vacuums that mops in its class. It comes with a wide array of features that make it an ideal choice for homeowners who want a highly effective, versatile and ad-hoc cleaning machine.

The device is equipped with a powerful and impressive cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensors and an RGB camera to map the home and detect furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean efficiently and effectively. This leads to an effective, consistent cleaning that's also fairly fast.

Our testers discovered that the Matrix Plus did a great job of vacuuming and mopping. Its most impressive feature is its accurate floorplan map, which it employs when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate easily between rugs, furniture, and other obstacles. The app also offers the option of setting 'No-Go zones' and virtual barriers that help to protect certain areas of your home from being swept with mop.

The Matrix Plus also did a surprising job of picking up hair of pets. It was able to capture a large amount of hair our cats shed and even was able to get into the nooks and crevices of our stairs which other robots that vacuum and mop struggled. The noise levels of the robot were low, and there were some lovely jingles that inform you that it was beginning and finishing its work.

The biggest flaws were its lack of sophistication and the need to switch out the modules whenever switching between mopping and vacuuming. The app can't keep multiple maps. This could be a problem if your home has several floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a ideal choice for people who want a device that can vacuum and mop.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum with mop vacuum is the most expensive of our review. However, it has certain unique features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its massive dock which doubles as the robot's charging base as well as housing for two 4-liter water tanks, a clean sink, and the 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically eliminates.

The base also comes with a set of control buttons that let you manually start a cleaning task and then recall the robot or use the dock's automatic vacuum cleaner and mop emptying process. Press two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a nice feature for parents who are concerned about their kids messing around with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums, the X1 Omni uses its camera to identify furniture and obstacles in its path and eliminate them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than laser detection systems and is four times more precise in recognizing objects.

Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni will occasionally become so entangled with an obstruction, such as an electrical cord dangling across a rug, that it gets stuck and ceases to function until you remove it manually. While this was rare, it was a frustrating experience when it did happen, especially since the X1 Omni doesn't have an "stuck" status alert on its app.

Another issue that could be a problem is one of the biggest drawbacks is X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between vacuuming and mopping modes during the cleaning process. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad but the mopping pad doesn't get washed or dried between uses. This can lead to mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame), who created its sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a big departure from the utilitarian all-black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. It's also a welcome sight for a market dominated by clunky boxy units.
