The majority of robot vacuum cleaner vacuum and mop combinations can be customized with an application that is specifically designed for. You can save your home's maps and set up cleaning schedules and select the mopping mode you prefer. You can also alter the suction power, as well as how much water your mop uses.

It also has an automatic vacuum cleaner mop lifting system that will raise the pad as it moves from laminate to tile, hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad is capable of rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means that you can set it and forget it, only having to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I tested it with its normal vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is at the same level as other hybrids I've tried.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only issue is that it's pricey. But, the sheer number of features makes it a tempting choice for anyone looking to ditch their old stick vacuums and mop. If you can justify the hefty price tag, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop combo. The price is justified by the powerful features, which include a massive vacuuming capability and two mop heads that rotate. It also has an app-based, smart controller and powerful obstacle avoidance techna wish than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to tidy up mess and get rid of dirt from your hard floors. This powerful mop and robovac combo packs an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power, an impressively large battery capacity for both mowing and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacle avoidance. It even comes with a roller mop that cleans itself as it goes this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-clean in order to clean the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is almost entire width of the robot and is continuously filled with ozonated, clean water from its dock. When it turns the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements and then pumped into a larger storage canister. The tank onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and take on up to a dozen mopping session before running out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do most robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro needs to be filled with clean water. This can be done in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you choose this feature however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands that allow you to choose your preferred brand of cleaners.

Like many robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map out a area and navigated around furniture. It sat on carpets with larger piles several times during my tests. However, this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, and it has some outstanding features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing mop pads as they go. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a good bit of an area before it has to return to its dock and the vacuum's high suction does a nice job of picking up debris and pet hair from carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers a variety of options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start the full map and then clear everything that's been mapped by the device, or you can pick specific rooms, expandable zones or even a routine you've crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mops to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, just like all the Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system performs well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in a neat way. Its "Normal" pathing setting covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too, though it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot the dangers of carpets that are thick but it might not always recognize smaller things such as rug tassels or electrical wires.

This device has a major issue: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's a good solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. The vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the last traces and dust that remained after vacuuming. This is a great feature that helps this robot clean a little better than its cheaper competitors.
