The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using an application that is specifically designed for. You can save maps of your house as well as set up cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and how much water your mop consumes.

The mopping function is impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in deep cleaning. It also has a mop lifter system that will lift the pad automatically when it changes between tile and laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs to prevent soaking soft surfaces.

In addition to this in addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad can be cleaned and heat-dried within the dock and the dust container is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means you can just put it away and forget about it, only needing to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before beginning to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've test.

This is a very complete and robust product, with the only downside being that it's costly. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very appealing choice for anyone looking to get rid of their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this model when you can justify its cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. The price is justified by its robust features, such as a huge vacuuming capability and two mop heads that rotate. It also includes an app-based, smart conest automatic vacuum and mop robotic vacuum and mop combination you can buy but its high cost and maintenance costs will ultimately make it more of a desire than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that will pick up dirt and dust on your hard floors while taking care of wet messes, then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with a strong 8,000 Pa of suction power as well as a massive battery that can be used for both mowing and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacle avoidance. It even comes with an automatic hoover mop that cleans itself as it moves, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean to clean the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller is almost full width of the bot and is continuously filled with clean, ozonated water from its dock. When it turns the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked up by the heater elements of the tank and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The tank that is onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro will need to be filled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, if you prefer to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you choose this feature, however, you will have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaners.

Like many robots, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map a room and it was able to navigate around furniture. It sat on carpets with thick piles a few times during my tests. However it could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level vacuum and mop but it does have some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning up a significant portion of an area before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair on carpets.

The application that runs this appliance is fairly complex, with a broad variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start a full map and clear everything that's been that the device maps, or you can pick specific rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've crafted. There are a number of mopping options that include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors of the mops to determine the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the space.

The Qrevo was a great performer during our tests, just like the other Roborock models that we've evaluated. Its navigation system is solid that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a systematic way. Its 'Normal" pathing option covers a room well, without any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective although it's not as advanced as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets with thick padding, but might not be able to recognize smaller items such as electrical wires and rug tassels.

One of the biggest flaws of this device is the absence of a mop after vacuum option that could be a problem for people who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This allows you to use the mopping function of the vacuum to eliminate the last remnants of debris and dust that are left behind by your vacuuming. It's a nice feature, and it helps the robot to make its clean better than its competitors with lower prices.
