The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

Some have great navigation and obstacle avoidance. Others even wash and refill mopping pads themselves for a hands-free cleaning.

The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model you need to select if you're looking for an automatic vacuum cleaner that can also mop. It's smaller than the other models on this list which makes it easier to maneuver into tight corners and underneath furniture. It features a 220-degree Lidar that, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, gives it one of my top navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in robot vacuums. It's got a battery of 4600mAh that can last up to 170 minutes when cleaning and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer on turbo). It can even return to its dock to replenish its battery during the cleaning.

It's very fast and does a fantastic job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways in a single pass. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to clean dirt, pet hair, and poop easily. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it encounters rugs and the dual side brushes help to tease away debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency, while still impressive, isn't as effective. The mop rotates at a high rate and it pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scraping away dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arm sticks out a bit more than other robots. This is helpful when you're trying to get into difficult corners or along baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to pick up larger objects like broken toys and books.

Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've ever used. It is quieter and doesn't make more noise when mopping or vacuuming. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a specific cleaning solution to perform its mopping function and is separate from the vacuum. It is easy to install and works well. However, if you are buying this robot vacuum for mopping, you will need to pay attention to this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It has a robust suite of features that make it an ideal option for homeowners looking for an extremely efficient, flexible and adaptable cleaning machine.

The device is equipped with an impressive and powerful cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensors with an RGB camera to map your home and detect furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean intelligently and methodically. This results in a thorough, consistent clean which is also relatively quiceffort.

The Matrix Plus robot vacuum is a 2-in-1 mop and vacuum. It is capable of mopping and vacuuming. The best robot vacuum that mops has two modules: a dry bin and reservoir of water, and a separate mopping unit with microfiber pads that snap into and out of position. It's a bit old-fashioned to have separate modules for mopping and vacuuming however it does mean you don't have to worry about changing the bags for disposables or refilling the tank with water.

Our test participants discovered that the Matrix Plus did a great job at both vacuuming and mopping. Its most impressive feature is its accurate floorplan map, which it utilizes when cleaning. This made it a breeze for the Matrix Plus to navigate around furniture rug, furniture, and other obstacles. The app allows you to create 'No-Go Zones' or virtual barriers to stop certain areas from being cleaned by mop.

The Matrix Plus also did a amazing job of collecting pet hair. It was able capture some of the hair our cats shed, and even got into some of the nooks and crannies on our stairs where other robots have struggled. It was relatively quiet and even had some nice jingles that signalled when it was starting or finished its work.

Its biggest drawbacks were its lack of sophistication and the need to change out the modules when switching between mopping and vacuuming. The app is not able to store multiple maps. This can be an issue if your house has several floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those who want a smart robot that can perform both vacuuming and mopping.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive of our review. However, it has some unique features which make it worth considering. The X1 Omni is notable for its massive dock that serves as an charging base for the best robot vacuum, a cleaning sink and two 4-liter water tanks. It also houses two bins: a 2.5-liter dust bin as well as an 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.

The base also has a variety of buttons to control the system. These allow you to start cleaning and then recall the robot or use the dock's automatic hoover emptying process. Press two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a great feature for parents who are concerned about their children playing with the vacuum.

The Omni Omni, like other robotic vacuums uses its camera to identify furniture and obstacles in its path. It will steer clear of them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni will occasionally get caught up in an obstacle--such as an electrical cord dangling across a rug that it becomes stuck and stops working until you remove it manually. While this was rare however, it was a gruelling experience when it did happen, especially since the X1 Omni doesn't have a "stuck" status alert on its application.

The X1 Omni is unable to automatically switch from mopping mode to vacuuming mode during cleaning. You will need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad except for the fact that the mopping pads aren't cleaned and dried between uses which could lead to mildew or mold.

On the bright side, the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who came up with its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad apparatus. It's a huge departure from the utilitarian all-black bases of rivals such as Roborock or iRobot. It's also an impressive sight in the market that is dominated by boxy units.
