The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking to buy a robot vacuum that can also mop, this is the model to look for. It's smaller than the other options on this list making it easier to maneuver through tight corners and under furniture. It features a 220-degree Lidar which, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, provides some of my favorite navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in the form of a robotic vacuum. It has a hefty 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170-minutes when mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can last longer in turbo). It can even return to the dock to top up its battery halfway through a clean.

It's extremely quick and does a great job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It vacuums the carpeted areas extremely quickly, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways in a single pass. Its 8,000pa motor is able to clean dirt as well as pet hair and poop effortlessly. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects carpets and the dual side brush assists in removing debris from corners.

The mopping performance, though still impressive, isn't as effective. The mop rotates at a high velocity and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scrubbing up dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arms protrude out a bit more than other robots, which is useful to maneuver around tight corners and on baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to scoop up larger pieces of debris, such as books and toys that have been damaged.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've used. It is quieter and doesn't create more noise when vacuuming or mopping. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for mopping, and is sold separately from the vacuum. It's simple to set up and works well however it's something you'll need to be aware of when you purchase this vacuum for the sole purpose of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is a powerful cleaner with a variety of features.

The device comes with a powerful and impressive cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensors and an RGB camera to map your home and identify furniture and other obstacles. It can then use this information to clean methodically and intelligently. This leads to a thorough, consistent clean that is also quite fast.

Its biggest drawbacks were its lack of sophistication and the need to switch between the modules to switch between vacuuming and mopping. The app can't keep multiple maps. This can be an issue if your home has a variety of floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a ideal choice for people who want a device that can automatic vacuum cleaner and mop.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that can be found in our review, however it also has unique features that are worth considering. The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its massive dock which doubles as the robot's charging base and the housing for two water tanks, a clean sink, and a 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically empties.

The base has several control buttons, which allow you to manually start a cleaning task and then recall the robot vacuum reviews or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Press two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents who are worried about their kids messing around with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums, the X1 Omni utilizes its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path and avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than conventional laser detection systems and is four times more accurate in finding objects.

Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni can occasionally get caught up in an obstacle--such as an electrical cord dangling across a rug that it becomes stuck and stops working until you remove it manually. This was a rare incident however it was frustrating since the X1 does not have an "stuck status" alert on its application.

Another issue that could be a problem is one of the biggest drawbacks is X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between vacuuming and mopping modes during cleaning. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad but mopping pads don't get cleaned or dried between uses. This can lead to mildew and mold.

On the positive side the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who came up with its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad. It's a big departure from the utilitarian, Robot vacuums with mop all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing appearance in a market which is dominated by clunky boxes and clunky models.
