It uses laser mapping and a camera to make an outline of your home which allows it to know where to stay away from. In addition, unlike other vacuums that can mop, it has object/obstacle detection that avoids things like dog toys and bowls (but not poop).

It also has some outstanding notable features, like a self-emptying dustbin, a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water, and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can get to places that other mops can't reach. You can also alter the settings for each room and create cleaning robot mop and vacuum schedules.

It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile carpets. It can also avoid cleaning rooms that aren't clean if you want to reduce time. If you have a wide range of flooring in your home and don't want to invest additional money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features this is an excellent option.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that can manage regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes, this little robot cleaner with mop is a good choice. It comes with a variety of features, including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own and the water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings within the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. It can't pick knots in the rug, and its battery drains more quickly than other models we've tested.

It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming however, it did well. It has a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet mode' for light debris to the incredibly powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automatically remove and reattach its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great mop and robot vacuum for those who live in cramped spaces. It's extremely quiet and speedy and is a great choice for maneuvering around tight spaces. It's also extremely effective in removing pet hair from carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competitors however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be configured to take pictures of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as "not located', so that they will not be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure, and are not tied to your account.

It is great at vacuuming, but not as great in mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that you clip to the bot's bottom, and it essentially drags them around the floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
