This robotic vacuum-mop is an excellent choice for those who live in apartments as it uses an economized docking system and has its own garbage bin. The app lets you select different modes and monitor the cleanliness and mopping. The mopping feature is awe-inspiring.

Its mapping and obstacle avoidance are impressive, and it scrubs very well and removes pet hair, spillages and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans and replenishes its water tank.

Roomba iRobot Combination

The iRobot Combo is an iRobot that can vacuum and mop. It doesn't quite unseat our reigning Editors' Choice, the Deebot X1 Omni, which offers more cleaning power and an easier-to-use mobile app however it makes for a strong alternative. In our tests, it consistently picked up dirt of all sizes and types from carpets and hard floors. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't the most advanced in the world, and isn't equipped with structured light and other technologies like LiDAR, but it was able to avoid most collisions with furniture and clutter.

The Combo has many of the same smarts that the J7 Plus includes, such as an onboard acoustic sensor to determine the floor type and AI-powered Navigation. However, it lacks the ability set suction power by hand. It's also a bit smaller than the vac-only model, and doesn't come with an auto vacuum and mop-emptying dock.

The Combo is one of my favorites for most homes. Its sleek design is also among the most attractive I've seen in the industry. The matte black finish is more sophisticated than the metallic or glossy finishes of the majority of competitors. iRobot also adds some classier touches, such as the leather tab to open the onboard bin and a shelf that can hold extra bags inside the dock. The iRobot Combo also allows you to easily create maps of your home, as well as to set up Keep-Out Zones and No-Mop Zones, and Clean Zones.

Roborock

Roborock, a relatively recent player in the robotic mop and vacuum industry, has already established itself with an array of cutting-edge cleaning technologies. The brand's vacuums feature industry-leading suction, and mopping systems make use of vibrating mops that scrub floors clean. Plus, a wide range of mapping and scheduling options lets you adjust the bot's cleaning schedule for your particular home.

Another outstanding Roborock feature is obstacle avoidance which allows the robot to detect objects smaller than its height. Karcher is known for its pressure washers and gardening tools, has been dabbling with robot vacuums for some time. This is the most tech-savvy model from the company. It is powered by LiDAR and creates maps of your house and can be programmed to clean or mop. It can also distinguish between carpets and hard floors, so you don't get water puddles on your pile.

Its navigation is top-notch that can avoid carpets and furniture with ease and even lifting itself up over steps. The robot can be customised by adjusting a range of settings including cleaning schedules and which rooms it should be cleaning. It has an 'emergency button' that will force the robot to return home when its power runs out. It can also be set to turn off automatically if a storm approaches.

The RCV 5 is very easy to use and, despite being heavy at almost 4kg, you won't experience difficulty moving it around furniture. Parents of small children will appreciate the safety features, such as a sensor that warns it to avoid stairs. Once it is charged the device will take only a few hours to recharge and the two buttons on the top will blink in green to indicate that it is now ready to use.

Mova E30 Ultra

The Mova E30 Ultra robot automatic vacuum and mop robot cleaner blends modern technology with affordable. It's a direct competitor to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra and Roborock's Q Revo. Despite its lower price tag, the Mova E30 Ultra offers features that many more expensive models cannot match. Although it isn't able to raise its mop on carpets or rugs like the winning Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra it's extremely effective in cleaning hard floors as well as tackling mopping with a stunning speed. It has a self emptying bin, a superior level of suction, an array of mopping options, and a high-quality app that works both on iOS and Android.

It's a little smaller than the competition, and its main brush is smaller than others, but it managed to make short work of our test area with ease. The revolving edge brush on the side is a nice addition. While it didn't remove dirt as well as other competitors, it still did a great job.

Cleaning parameters can be pre-set for every room and the device will automatically create detailed maps of rooms by using LiDAR's built-in navigation. It's easy to control via the app, and a range of voice output options will inform you about the state of your home robot. Regular software updates help improve and best Robot Vacuum extend the performance. The application can also be used to remotely manage the RCV3 when you're away from home.
