WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boosts in certain statistics. Each upgrade increases item level by +3. A random substat is also boosted alongside each upgrade.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like the eth Titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the necessity to roll for a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapon. The item level upgrade; Stairways.Wiki, used to upgrade the item will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enhancements.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader every couple of weeks.

Upgrades can cost more based on the item level, however they'll always be cheaper than purchasing new equipment. For instance, upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points, while buying a similar item from another player will costs 105.

Valorstones

This change lets players upgrade their gear to the highest possible ilvl on all their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also crucial to choose crests wisely, as they have only one purpose. For instance it's a good idea to utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests with the best equipment available and save Drake and Wyrm crests for the next batch of upgrades you plan to make. This is particularly applicable to items like trinkets and rings that take up multiple slots. The discount for the entire account will only apply when all the slots on the character are filled with top-quality gear.
