The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic cleaner and mop vacuum that also mop, this is the model to look for. It's smaller than the other options on this list making it easier to maneuver into tight corners and underneath furniture. It has a 220-degree lidar that combined with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the most effective navigation and object avoidance that I've ever seen in a robot vacuum. It's powered by a 4600mAh battery which can last up to 170 minutes when cleaning and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer on turbo). It can even return to the dock to top up its battery part way through cleaning.

It's efficient and does an outstanding job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It cleans the carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and hardwood floors in the living room, and hallways in a single pass. The suction motor's 8,000pa is quick at picking up dirt, crumbs, and pet hair. Carpet detection increases power automatically when it comes in contact with carpets and the dual side brushes help draw out dirt from corners.

The mopping efficiency, while still impressive, is not as good. The mop rotates at a high velocity and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly cleaning up dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arm sticks out a little more than other robots. This is useful when getting into tight corners or along baseboards. The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest best robot vacuum cleaner and mop mop and vacuums I've used. It is quieter and doesn't produce more noise when vacuuming or mopping. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it needs to use a proprietary mopping solution and is sold separately. It is easy to install and works well. However, if you are buying this robot vacuum for mopping it is important to pay attention to this.

Our test subjects discovered that the Matrix Plus did a great job of vacuuming as well as mopping. The app can't store multiple maps, which can be a hassle if you have a home with multiple floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a great choice for those who want a smart device that can vacuum and mop.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. However, it does have distinct features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni is most notable for its enormous dock that doubles as a charging base for the Robot vacuums that mop, a sink for cleaning and two 4-liter water tanks. It also houses a 2.5-liter dust bin as well as a 2.5 liter dust bin.

The base also has a number of buttons to control the system. These let you manually start cleaning, recall the robot, or use the dock's automatic emptying process. Hold down two buttons to turn off the child lock that is a great feature for parents who are worried about kids tinkering with the vacuum.

The X1 Omni, like other robotic hoovers vacuums, uses its camera to identify obstacles and furniture in its path. It will avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni could occasionally become so entangled with obstacles, like an electrical cord dangling across a rug--that it becomes stuck and ceases to function until you free it. While this was rare, it was a frustrating experience when it happened and especially because the X1 Omni doesn't come with a "stuck" status alert in its application.

The X1 Omni is unable to automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during a cleaning session. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't a big deal apart from the fact that mopping pads aren't cleaned and dried between uses which could lead to mildew or Robot vacuums that mop mold.

On the bright side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who came up with its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad. It's a major departure from the utilitarian, all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing view in a market that is dominated by bulky boxy models.
