The Combo has the same smarts as the j7 Plus with the addition of new onboard acoustic sensors to identify the type of floor and AI-powered navigation. However, it isn't able to set suction power manually. It's also less compact than its vac-only counterpart, and doesn't come with self-empty docks.

The Combo is one of my top choices for most homes. Its sleek design is also one of the most attractive I've seen. The sleek matte black plastic looks superior to the competition's metallic or glossy finishes, and iRobot's little features--like a leather tab that can open the bin onboard and a shelf within the dock to store extra bags--are classier than the majority of its competitors'. The iRobot Combo also allows you to easily create maps of your home, and to set up Keep-Out Zones and No-Mop Zones, and Clean Zones.

Roborock

Roborock, a relatively recent player in the robotic vacuum and mop industry has already established itself by offering innovative cleaning technology. The brand's vacuums have industry-leading suction, and mopping systems make use of vibrating mops to scrub floors clean. Additionally, a variety of mapping and scheduling options lets you adjust the schedule of cleaning for your specific home.

Another amazing Roborock feature is the obstacle avoidance, which lets the robot detect objects that are lower than its height. This is particularly beneficial for Roborock's most well-known models, such as the Qrevo Master. It is the best of its kind when it comes to navigation, due to the combination of vSLAM and LiDAR.
