It is important to remember that the mapping process may take a while and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets an accurate picture of your space. In addition, object detection can be unpredictable; it was able to skirt furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a looser tassel and had to turn itself over to free itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need a cleaning companion that does all of the above.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubs. This means that floors are cleaned, not just being swept. The detachable vacuum stick is an innovative tool that can get to places robot vacuums cannot.

The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa and ot is one of the most premium robot vacuum cleaner vacuums/mowers available, and it provides an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with decent precision, and the app lets users fine-tune map coverage, set no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. This robot is only a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my office clean. It can also reach into the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping and camera to create a 3D map of your home, so it can know what to stay clear of. In addition, unlike other vacuums with mopping capabilities it also has detection of objects and obstructions that is able to avoid things like bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop!).

Other great features include a self emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing, adjustable for water temperature, and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also adjust the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.

Like the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping, and can distinguish between laminate, carpets and hardwood rugs with high-pile. And, if you want to cut down on time, it will skip cleaning rooms that aren't soiled. If you have a wide range of flooring in your home and don't want to invest more money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping features, this is a great choice.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a versatile robot mop vacuum and mop that can manage regular maintenance and touch-ups for messy messes that are wet, this robot is a good option. It comes with a wide range of features such as a self-emptying dustbin and a separate dock to refill water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's extremely quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. However, it can't pick up knotted rug tassels and it's battery drains a little faster than other models in our tests.

With a cost of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and handy automation into a sleek. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests however, it did quite well. It also includes a wide selection of cleaning options to suit your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' option for lightweight debris to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for carpeted rooms. It can even be programmed to remove and reconnect its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot automatic vacuum cleaner and mop and mop for those who live in cramped areas. It's silent and fast and it is able to navigate tight spaces well. It's also extremely effective at removing pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competitors, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent amount of suction power, and it can be configured to take a photo of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys,, socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app to ensure that they aren't removed during subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and aren't tied to your account.

It is great at vacuuming, but not as well in mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom, and then drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mophead.
