The drawers come with temperature controls so that you can set them for Meat, Beverage or Deli settings. The drawers are easy to shut and open however I found the textured plastic coatings to be a bit rough on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator is equipped with a complete set of features you'd expect from a refrigerator in this price range, including Wi-Fi and app support via GE's SmartHQ software. The app is compatible with iOS and Android devices and lets you control your refrigerator from anywhere across the globe. It also has a lot of customization options. It also alerts you when doors are left open, when the refrigerator or freezer needs defrosting and when it's time to change the filter.

It would be nice if the GE PYE22PYNFS included Precise fill, an option available in other GE fridges that allow you to choose how many cups of water you'd like to pour out at a time. The fridge shows a countdown to reveal how much water is left, but it's not as useful as Precise Fill.

The other issue we have with this refrigerator is its doors. The handles that are sunken let shorter people open them from the bottom. However taller people will struggle to close them without slamming. It would have been much better if they came with a front-mounted handle.

The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF's exterior is constructed of grey-bodied stainless steel which has a "smudge-proof" finish. It does an excellent job of repelling fingerprints and streaks, even compared to glossier stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tested.
